Dear Date,

I grew up with red dates simmered in nourishing traditional soups.

Years later, I encountered them differently: first as a creamy red date milk tea on a cold Shanghai morning, then again after the birth of my first child, when red date tea became part of my daily recovery.

So I started making drinks for friends, sharing not only the taste, but the feeling behind them.

Date with Red was born from a simple idea: to bring an ingredient passed down through generations into the present, and to modernise it into an everyday ritual. I wanted to package them into beautiful bottles so people could gift them to others they care for.

Enjoy it for its natural sweetness and comforting taste.

To me, it tastes like a hug in a cup.

An artist by day, and a new mother of two every other minute.

I've always been fond of making things, in different mediums, in all kinds of scales. I make art in my studio but actually, I find food and the kitchen to be a place of inspiration too.

Date with Red came as a way to express creativity beyond the visual, to share joy generously and for care feel a little less complicated.
